Cookies and data

The session cookie keeps you signed in to your account. It is set by Supabase, the service that handles authentication, and it exists so that you stay logged in as you move from one page to the next.

It is a strictly necessary cookie: without it there is no sign-in, and without sign-in there is no way to attach a subscription to an account. Cookies of this kind do not require prior consent under the ePrivacy Directive (art. 5.3) — they require that you are told about them, which is what this page is for.

If you select Accept, we load the Google Ads tag on every page. It helps us understand whether an ad led to a visit or conversion. Google may receive information about your browser, device and activity on this site, and may store or read identifiers for that purpose.

The tag is not loaded before you accept. If you select Reject, no request is sent to Google by this measurement tool and every site feature remains available. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage.

Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. You can clear this site’s local storage to be asked again.

They are never uploaded anywhere. The clips you open in the editor stay in your browser’s local database (IndexedDB), and the export runs on your own machine, on your own CPU. They do not pass through a server of ours, we never see them, and we do not store them.

The same goes for any audio you add to an edit. If you clear your browsing data they are gone: we have no copy to restore them from.

If you create an account we keep your email address and, if you subscribe, what is needed to manage the subscription: Stripe customer id, status, renewal date. Your card number never reaches us — Stripe handles it directly and is the data controller for the payment side.
